CALIENT Expands In Europe

Santa Barbara-based optical switching technology provider CALIENT Technologies is expanding its footprint in Europe, saying late last night that it has signed up reseller Signal Solutions Nordic Oy, which is based in Finland. CALiENT said the addition of Signal Solutions will provide it with a reseller serving Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania and Latvia. CALIENT said Signal Solutions plans to sell its products into enterprise data center and mobile and fixed telecom networks. CALIENT develops optical switching products based on MEMS technology.
