CODA Holdings Buys EnergyCS

Los Angeles-based CODA Holdings, the developer of electric vehicles, announced this morning that it has acquired Monrovia-based EnergyCS, a developer of battery management systems. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. According to CODA, EnergyCS provides a variety of technologies used for long term performance management of battery systems, and is one of the firm's partners in development of its all-electric vehicle. EnergyCS was founded in 2001 by Peter Nortman, and is also known as Energy Control Systems Engineering.
