EV Connect, GE Link On Electric Vehicle Charging

Los Angeles-based EV Connect, the electric vehicle charging station operator founded by Jordan Ramer and led by Scott Jarus, said Tuesday that it has entered into a joint marketing and product agreement with the GE Industrial Solutions business. The deal calls for GE to be the preferred, charging station supplier for EV Connect, with EV Connect being the preferred management provider for GE charging stations worldwide. EV Connect helps install and operate electric vehicle charging stations, offering up cloud-based software for managing those charging stations and more. The company targets commercial, enterprise, hospitality, university and government facilities. EV Connect says that its customers now include Yahoo, 1st Century Fox, Marriott, Western Digital, the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority, New York Power Authority, and many others.
