EdgeCast Ties With Indonesian Partner

Santa Monica-based content delivery network (CDN) operator EdgeCast Networks is further expanding in Asia, saying Wednesday that it has linked with PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (TELIN) on powering a content delivery network in Indonesia. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. According to EdgeCast, TELIN will offer CDN services to its enterprise customers as part of the partnership. TELIN is a subsidiary of Telkon Indonesia, which says it is the biggest telecommunications provider in Indonesia.
