Eyespot Targets VideoEgg

San Diego-based Eyespot, a provider of video editing and other tools, said Friday that it is looking to help video publishers migrate from VideoEgg. According to Eyespot, it will support publishers who have been informed they need to migrate from VideoEgg's video hosting and streaming service, which is being discontinued. EyeSpot operate a software-as-a-service offering that allows video publishers to publish and include advertising in streaming video. The firm said it has free, ad-supported and low-cost monthly offerings available. The firm is one of several who are targeting VideoEgg's customers; Los Angeles-based Userplane also announced it is looking to support video publishers migrating from VideoEgg this morning.
