Fisker Announces Aftermarket Relationships

Anaheim-based electric vehicle developer Fisker Automotive announced today that it has signed a number of deals with aftermarket partners, which will give its owners ways to personalize, "maximize", and protect their Karma sedans. Fisker said it has linked with 3M, Mobil 1, and Goodrich Technology, on three effort to provide products for the Karma. In the deal with 3M, Fisker said that the two companies have developed a new Fisker Diamond Protective Film to help protect the Karma by preventing rock chips and damage from other road debris to the car's paint job; the two also are showing a Scotchprint Wrap Film for the Karma with different designs at the SEMA auto show. Fisker said it has chosen Mobil 1 0W30 Advanced Fuel Economy Synthetic Motor Oil for its two-liter gasoline engine used for range extension; and it is working with Goodrich Technology on wheels custom designed for the Karma. Financial details of the various deals were not disclosed.
