Fonality Upgrades PBX Appliance

Los Angeles-based Fonality, a provider of PC-based PBX platforms, said today that it has announced a new enterprise telephony appliance based on its trixbox software. The firm said that its new appliance includes its IP-PBX software in a rack mount server platform, and is aimed at businesses with five to 500 employees. Fonality develops IP-PBX software products based on the open source Asterisk project.
