Gizmo Adds Video Calling

San Diego-based SIPphone, the company behind the free SIP voice-over-IP calling software Gizmo Project, said Thursday evening that it has released version 4.0 beta of its software. The new version of the software adds video calling features to the software package. According to the firm, the new beta release allows for video calling with other video-enabled, SIP client software. Gizmo's software allows users to instant message and voice calls to other computer users.
