HitFix Launches Comedy Channel

Los Angeles-based entertainment news provider HitFix said Thursday that it has launched a new comedy channel on the site. HitFix said its RIOT comedy channel will provide original content, video, and more covering the "lighter side of entertainment and celebrity." HitFix was co-founded by Jennifer Sargenta nd Gregory Ellwood, and offers up entertainment news and video around the movie, music, TV, and other areas. HitFix said the new channel was inspired by popular sites like Funny or Die, College Humor and The Onion.
