Instacart Expands In OC, Adds 99 Ranch
Grocery delivery service Instacart is doubling its coverage of Orange County, the company said this morning, and will begin offering up its deliveries in a long list of zip codes in the county. The delivery service--which is based in San Francisco--had launched its grocery deliver services in March. The company said the expansion will serve twice as many Orange County residents than it had before. Instacart said it has seen 200% growth since it launched in late March of this past year. As part of the expansion in Orange County, the company also announced an unusual expansion to support deliveries from 99 Ranch Market, an Asian market chain--well known for its live fish displays, exotic fruits and vegetables, and huge selection of imported Asian foods--which has two locations in Irvine, a location in Anaheim, as well as locations elsewhere in the greater Los Angeles market.
