Moonfrye Debuts Photo App

Los Angeles-based Moonfrye, the startup led by Soleil Moon Frye, TV's Punky Brewster, has launched a new photo app, which lets users add themes and decorations to their photos. The free, iPhone app is focused on "inspiring creativity" in families, the company said Thursday. Moonfrye is venture backed by Upstart Ventures, and had raised $2.5M in a round of funding back in April for creating products around kids' activities.
