Pictage Acquires ShootQ

Torrance-based Pictage, which operates an online service for professional photographers, said today that it has acquired ShootQ. ShootQ is a developer of web-based software for managing the business of professional photographers, including handling workflow, marketing, and selling their work. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Pictage operates an online site for wedding and portrait photographers, which allows clients to browse and order photos. The firms said the combo would create a comprehensive platform for photographers to manage their workflow, promote their brand, connect with community, and sell their work.
