Qualcomm In Telemedicine Effort

San Diego-based Qualcomm said this morning that its subsidiary, Qualcomm Life, is in a collaboration effort with vitaphone e-health solutions, a provider of health care management, telemonitoring, telemedicine devices and patient coaching. The two said the will integrate vitaphone's product with the Qualcomm Life HealthyCircles Care Coordination and 2net Device Connectivity platform. Financial details of the link were not disclosed. Qualcomm Life's products are used to capture data from medical devices, to assist in remote patient monitoring.
