Reports: Glitch In Ring Doorbells Causes Confusion

Santa Monica-based smart doorbell maker Ring had a glitch this month where some of its doorbells accidentally pulled up video from the wrong houses, causing some confusion and worry over the product. According to reports, due to a bug in the company's software, a limited number of users saw video from other people's houses, instead of their own, when they used the company's apps. Ring, in a statement to a number of publications, said that it believes less than ten instances of the issue occurred, compared to over 4 million calls a day it is routing through its system. Ring recently raised $61.2M in funding for its efforts.
