StockTwits Mines Sentiment Data

StockTwits, the online stock-focused financial discussion service based in San Diego, said today that it has launched a new feature of the site, showing sentiment data and message volume to its ticker pages. The new feature mines data recently added to the service to figure out if stock investors are more positive or negative in their discussions of different stocks. StockTwits said the new feature comes as it looks to provide information on social momentum on different stocks, based on messages from StockTwits community. StockTwits is headed by Howard Lindzon.
