TenOneTen Ventures Eyes $25M Fund

Los Angeles-based venture capital investor TenOneTen Ventures, which is run by David Waxman and Gil Elbaz, is looking to raise a $25M fund, according to a regulatory filing from the company this week. The investment firm--which already has been very active in Los Angeles--indicated in the filing that the fund has yet to raise any commitments from investors. It's unclear if the move opens up investment opportunities for other LPs in the fund, which has until now been funded entirely by Waxman and Elbaz, both successful technology entrepreneurs. The firm's portfolio currently includes companies like Burner, Divshot, Nearwoo, Vurb, Weotta, and many others. Waxman founded Firefly (acquired by Microsoft) and PeoplePC (acquired by Earthlink), as well as Spotrunner. Elbaz was founder of Applied Semantics (acquired by Google), and is currently full time CEO at Factual.
