Vertiflex Names VP

Carlsbad-based Vertiflex, a developer of minimally invasive devices used for spinal surgery has named Michael Enxing as its new Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. Enxing was most recently Vice President of Sales at Nevro Corporation, and also served at Vertos Medical, Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. (f/k/a Cardio Vascular Solutions CSI); Advanced Neuromodulation Systems, Inc. (acquired by St. Jude Medical, Inc.); Stryker Corporation; and Tecnol Medical Products, Inc. (acquired by Kimberly Clark). Vertiflex is venture backed by Endeavour Vision, H.I.G. BioHealth Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Thomas, McNerney & Partners, and Alta Partners and raised $40M in a funding round in March.
