Vision Solutions Sells Double-Take Software To Carbonite

Irvine-based Vision Solutions, which develops data protection, high-availability, and other IT automation software, said Tuesday evening that it has sold its Double-Take Software division to Carbonite. Vision Solutions is owned by Santa Monica's Clearlake Capital. Financial details of the sale were not announced. Vision Solutions had acquired Double-Take in 2010, only a few short months before it was acquried by Clearlake Capital.
