San Diego-based Active Network, the online provider of sports and community websites, said this week that it will provide the online registration and marketing for the Air Force Marathon, which is held at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio. Financial terms of the win were not disclosed. Active said it is providing its technology, including online registration, marketing, and volunteer management and event management tools to the marathon through 2015.
