Advanced Medical Optics Completes IntraLase Acquisition

Santa Ana-based Advanced Medical Optics said today that it has completed its acquisition of Irvine-based IntraLase. The $808M cash deal was originally announced in January. IntraLase is a provider of LASIK technology used for vision correction. AMO provides intraocular lenses and other related products. Both firms are based in Orange County.
