AHARA Picks Up $10.25M For Nutritional Recommendations

Los Angeles-based AHARA, a new startup focused on providing personalized nutrition suggestions, has raised $10.25M in a seed funding round. The funding was led by Greycroft, and also included Headline, SHAKTI, Sandy Sholl, Dr. Samuel Jampolis and the company's co-founders. The company was co-founded by Julie Wainwright and Dr. Melina Jampolis. The company says it uses an AI-enabled algorithm to identify an individual's "key nutrients" and offers up "ultra-personalized nutrition recommendations". Wainwright previously founded fashion site The RealReal.
