AirMap Deploys In Czech Republic

Santa Monica-based drone software maker AirMap, which develops software used to manage the access of drones to controlled airspace, said this morning that the Czech Republic is deploying its software to manage some of the country's busy airspace. According to AirMap, the Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic (ANS CR) is deploying its AirMap UTM product to manage authorizations for drone flights in the controlled airspace around Vaclav Havel Airport Prague. Financial impact of the win was not announced. AirMap said the win is the second, nationwide adoption in Europe, where Swiss aviation authorities also are using its product. AirMap says its product is also being used in the United States, New Zealand, and Japan.
