Amazon Deploys Rivian Electric Delivery Vans In Europe

Amazon has deployed its very first electric delivery vans from Irvine-based Rivian in Europe, Amazon announced over the long weekend. According to Amazon, it will roll out more than 300 new electric vans from Rivian in Germany, the first from Rivian in Europe. Amazon said those vans will run in Munich, Berlin, and Dusseldorf. Amazon says it is already operating more than 3,000 vans from Rivian delivering packages in 500 U.S. cities and regions. Amazon says it hopes to have more than 100,000 electric delivery vehicles from Rivian running by 2030.
