Amazon Studios Suspends Head Of Prime Video

Amazon Studios, the Hollywood-based arm of Amazon.com which develops original content for Amazon Prime, said late Thursday evening that it has suspended Roy Price, VP of Amazon Studios and head of Prime Video, after allegations of sexual harassment from one of the company's producers. The move came after The Hollywood Reporter published an interview with Isa Hackett, a producer on Amazon's The Man in the High Castle and Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams on an incident involving Price. Amazon also told THR it is reviewing its options for projects it has with The Weinstein Co. Apparently Amazon is heavily involved in the allegations of rape issued by actress Rose McGowan against Harvey Weinstein.
