Los Angeles-based Audyssey, a startup whose founders include Tomlinson Holman, inventor of THX, has scored a win with auto manufacturer Jaguar Cars, the firm said this week. Audyssey said that Jaguar will include its MultEQ XT technology in its new Jaguar XJ line of luxury cars. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Audyssey's products are based on technology developed at the University of Southern California, and provide correction for distortion in cars and home theaters. The firm also has existing wins with Volvo and others for its technology.
