Los Angeles-based babystyle, the venture-backed retailer of maternity and baby products, announced today that it has acquired Cadeau Maternity, and raised $11M in funding from Global Retail Partners and Oak Investment Partners. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. babystyle also said that it has named Emilia Fabricant, the founder and CEO of Cadeau Maternity, as its President and Chief Merchandising Officer. babystyle, which originally launched as an online ecommerce retailer, now operates 20 brick and mortar stores in 8 states.
