Bandsintown Acquired By Cellfish

San Diego-based Bandsintown, the developer of a live concert tracking and discovery application for Facebook, has been acquired by Cellfish, a mobile and social applications publisher, the firms said today. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Bandsintown helps fans track their favorite artists and concert dates, and says it has over 3.4 million music fans using its apps. Bandintown was founded by Todd Cronin and Phil Sergi.
