Beautified Targets LA With Mobile Beauty Appointments App

Beautified, the developer of a mobile app and marketplace which lets users book appointments with hairdressers, stylists, massage therapists, and fitness trainers, is planning to expand into Los Angeles, after taking a round of funding. The company--which is based in New York--disclosed this morning that it has raised $1.2M in a seed funding round, to specifically expand in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The funding came from New Enterprise Associates, Manzanita Capital, and a number of angel investors.
