Santa Barbara-based BioIQ, the developer of software and technology for the health and wellness industry, said today that it has partnered with privately held insurance brokerage and consulting firm Keenan. BioIQ said that its health screening programs are being used by Keenan to help California hospitals and health clinics to conduct employee health screening programs and measure wellness efforts. BioIQ said that so far, the two have worked together to conduct wellness programs at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, Methodist Hospital in Arcadia, and Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage. BioIQ helps run wellness programs, by automating appointments, sending reminders, conducting on-site screenings, handling mailing at-home test kits, as well as aggregating all that information online. BioIQ is backed by Great Pacific Capital, the venture firm of Fastclick founder Dave Gross.
