biproxi Buys OfficeSpace.com

San Diego-based commercial real estate marketplace biproxi said this morning that it has acquired OfficeSpace.com, an online commercial real estate marketplace that connects tenants and buyers with brokers. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. Biproxi said it will use that acquisition to consolidate all of its commercial real estate (CRE) data and listings on the OfficeSpace.com website. The firm says that OfficeSpace.com currently has over 550,000 listings for commercial real estate, and claims it is the second-largest CRE listing site in the United States. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Susie Algard, the founder and former CEO of OfficeSpace.com will join biproxi's Advisory Board as part of the acquisition.
