Aliso Viejo-based online retailer Buy.com has tied into Google's new Google Checkout program, the company said this morning. The retailer is one of the first stores to add support for Google's new online payment service. Buy.com said that it has added the support as another checkout option for its customers. Google announced the new Google Checkout service this morning, tying its new payment processing system to its Adwords system. Retailers who use Google Adwords for their advertising can offset the fees associated with Google Checkout. The new payment system goes up against eBay's PayPal, the current leading online payment service. Buy.com also said it would be recognized with a Google Checkout badge on its Adwords listings. Buy.com is an online retailer of electronics, books, and other products.
