CalAmp Swizzles Management Team

Oxnard-based CalAmp, a provider of hardware for the wireless communications market, said today that it has consolidated two of its divisions and made a number of executive changes. The firm said it is consolidating its Wireless DataCom Division and Satellite Division into one operating unit, saying that the move would streamline its operating structure, and result in improved efficiencies. Michael J. Burdiek, former President of its Wireless DataCom Division, has appointed as the company's COO; Robert Hannah, former VP Operations of its Satellite Division will also become VP and GM of its Satellite Products. Finally, CalAmp said that Patrick Hutchings, President of its Satellite Division and its current COO, has resigned.
