    CallWave Names Engineering VP


    Santa Barbara-based CallWave, a provider of Internet-based communications services, said Thursday evening that it has appointed Ritesh Bansal as the firm's new Vice President of Application Development. Bansal joins the firm from TalkPlus, and has previously served at Kivera, CitiBank, and Oracle. According to CallWave, Bansal was responsible for development of the "Friend Finder" app at Kivera for AT&T. Bansal will report to CallWave President and CEO Jeff Cavins.
