Caltech, Broadcom Ink Research and Development Partnership

Caltech and Broadcom announced a research and development partnership this morning, where Broadcom will make a "significant investment" in a new lab at Caltech. Size of that investment was not announced. According to the two, the partnership will seek to "advance quantum science research and discoveries with the potential to seed new innovative technologies and applications." The deal includes an agreement to also host an annual symposium to bring together scientists and engineers at Broadcom and Caltech.
