Los Angeles-based Causecast, the provider of cause marketing and related tools for nonprofits and brands run by Ryan Scott, said Tuesday that it has launched a new feature aimed at connecting nonprofits and brands. The company said its new "Cause Marketing Campaigns for Nonprofits" feature helps nonprofits participate in cause marketing campaigns from brands, making it easier for those nonprofits to link into various brand marketing efforts directly. The firm said the feature allows marketers to attract, screen, and facilitate links with nonprofits, who benefit from donations and volunteer opportunities. Causecast said the campaigns it is launching wit hinclude Change the Equation, Salute to Service, Startup America, The Huffington Post, and Virgin Mobile RE*Generation.
