Carpinteria-based Celerus Diagnostics, a developer of pathology analysis equipment, has now raised $10M in a Series C funding, according to a regulatory filing from the firm Thursday. Details on the funding have not been released by the company. The company's systems are used for rapid cancer diagnosis. Celerus has previously raised funding from Great Pacific Capital (now Persistence Partners) and Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. It appears that the actual new funding is $5M, based on prior announcements from the firm. More information »
