Los Angeles-based Channel M, which operates in-store TV networks for retailers, announced Monday that it has signed on Money Mart, a subsidiary of Dollar Financial, as a customer. According to Channel M, it has launched a custom in-store TV network for the chain. Channel M will handle technology, content production, network installation, and advertising sales for Money Mart. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. The rollout will start with 30 stores in the U.S. and Canada, with eventual plans to expand to Money Mart's 1000 store locations. Money Mart provides payday loans, check cashing, money wiring, and other services. Channel M is venture backed by Ascend Venture Group, Benedek Investment Group, Integral Capital Partners, and Vintage Capital Partners.
