Chideo Creates Advisory Board

Los Angeles-based Chideo, the new startup which combines charity, videos, interactive voting, and more to help celebrities raise money for their charities, has recruited an advisory board with a long list of notable names. According to the startup, which is led by Todd Wagner, it has added such names as local tech entrepreneur Clark Laundry (SHIFT/TagWorld), Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein (The Weinstein Company), musician Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park), and news anchor Dan Rather to the advisory board. The board will help provide "expert knowledge" in their fields to the company, according to Chideo. The advisory board also includes: Jerry Inzerillo (IMG Artists); Mark Lieberman (Artists Den); Doc McGhee (McGhee Entertainment); Kirk Posmantur (Axcess Worldwide); Jane Rosenthal (TriBeCa Film Festival); Peter Samuelson (Starlight Children's Foundation) and Roxanne Spillett (Boys & Girls Clubs of America). Chideo's site lets fans vote on suggestions for video content they'd like their favorite celebrities to record; once that video is recorded, fans can donate to a celebrity's favorite charity to access those videos.
