Aliso Viejo-based Cianna Medical is reporting today that the firm has completed a Series B funding round worth more than $10M. The firm, which is developing treatments for early stage breast cancer, said the funding comes from Emergent Medical Partners, Saints Capital, Mitubishi International, Fog City Fund, as well as several private individuals. The funding will go towards commercialization of the firm's technology. Cianna Medical is a spinout from BioLucent, Inc. The new funding brings the company's total raised to $19M. More information »
