CODA Genomics Raises $7M

Laguna Hills-based CODA Genomics, which is developing technology for protein production, said today that it has raised $7M in a Series C funding round. The funding came from OVP Venture Partners, which led the round, along with existing investors Monitor Ventures, Tech Coast Angels, and Life Science Angels. Chad Waite of OVP joins the firm's board as part of the funding. CODA Genomics said that the new funding will b e used to expand revenue growth and for developing intellectual property. CODA Genomics technology is used for synthetic biology by pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical firms. More information »
