Conexant Expands Board
Newport Beach-based semiconductor firm COnexant Systems announced today that it has added two new members to the firm's board of directors. Conexant said that it has added William E. Bendush and Matthew E. Massengill to its board. Bendush was most recently SVP and CFO at Applied Micro Circuits Corporation, and also served at Silicon Systems and other firms. Massengill was most recently chairman and CEO of Western Digital Corporation, where he was for 22 years. The new directors brings the firm's board to eight. Conexant is a manufacturer of semiconductors for the networking, digital image, media processing, and other industries.
