El Segundo-based Connexus, an online advertising firm, said this morning that it has acquired the technology assets of AdModus, a developer of ad serving technology. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Connexus said that the AdModus technology will complement the firm's existing offerings, and will fuel development of additional advanced targeting and optimization solutions for its customers. AdModus CEO Jim Waltz will join Connexus as part of the acquisition.
