Cool Planet Gets More Funding

Cool Planet, the startup which is developing technology that converts carbon dioxide into an agricultural soil amendment, announced this morning that it has raised an additional financing round. The company--which was started in Camarillo, and continues to have a production office in the city--said the funding came from Northbridge Venture Partners, and also included Hong Kong-based Yung's Enterprise. The size of the investment was not announced. Cool Planet's other investors include BP, Google Ventures, the Constellation division of Exelon, and Energy Technology Ventures.
