CrowdStrike Exec Gets White House Appointment
Irvine-based cybersecurity software developer CrowdStrike said that Steven Chabinsky, its General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer, has been appointed by the President to the Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity. Chabinsky joins 11 others in an effort to help bolster cybersecurity both in the government and private sector. Chabinsky is the only, Southern California executive among the executives on the new Commission, which also includes former IBM CEO Sam Palmisano, Ajay Banga, President and CEO of MasterCard; Peter Lee, Corporate VP at Microsoft Research; Joe Sullivan, Chief Security Officer of Uber, and others.
