CrowdStrike Launches Endpoint Monitoring Application
Irvine-based CrowdStrike, the computer security firm led by security industry veteran George Kurtz, said today that it has launched a brand new application for endpoint activity monitoring. According to the company, it has launched the app to provide real-time forensics, automated protection, and visibility into endpoints. The company is tapping technology from Splunk for the app. Terms of the deal between Splunk and CrowdStrike were not disclosed. CrowdStrike develops tools aimed at enterprises, to help them identify malware, zero-day threats, specific organizations which are targeting companies, and more. The company is backed by Accel Partners and Warburg Pincus.
