CyberDefender Adds Advisor
Los Angeles-based security software firm CyberDefender announced today that it has added Sean Whiteley, co-founder and former CEO of RealtyTracker, as a special advisor to its board of directors. Whiteley sold RealtyTracker to Guthy-Renker Home in March of 2007. Whiteley has also served as VP of Operations at Xdrive Technologies. CyberDefender said that Whiteley will brings his underatanding and practical knowledge base to the firm. CyberDefender is a provider of Internet security software which uses peer-to-peer networking technology to distribute security updates, which it says is much faster than traditional security update methods.
