San Diego-based Cyntellect, a life sciences firm developing stem cell and other biopharmaceuticals products, said today that it has named Saiid Zarrabian as the firm's CEO. Zarrabian replaces Fred Koller, who becomes Chief Technology Officer for the firm. Zarrabian was most recently President and COO of Synomyx, and also has been at Pharmacopeia and Molecular Simulations. He sits on the boards of Ambit Biosciences and eMolecules.
