Cypress Creek Renewables Plans 45MW Worth Of Community Solar In Illinois

Santa Monica-based renewable energy developer Cypress Creek Renewables said this morning that it has agreed to develop and sell 45MW of community solar projects in Illinois to community solar operator Nexamp. Cypress Creek Renewables said the 45MW of Illinois solar projects are scheduled to be operational by Fall of 2023. The company did not say how much it will cost to build those solar projects. Cypress Creek Renewables said the projects will generate enough renewable energy to meet the needs of approximately 6,000 average homes while offsetting 25,500 metric tons of CO2 annually, the equivalent of taking 4,800 cars off the road.
