Daylight Solutions Gets $15M

San Diego-based Daylight Solutions, a developer of high-power, laser systems for the defense and homeland security market, said this morning that it has raised $15M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Northrop Grumman Corporation, and also included several of its existing investors. The company did not say which of its existing investors participated. Daylight Solutions said the funding will go towards growth and advancing its technology and product offerings. Daylight Solutions is headed by Dr. Timothy Day, and makes laser detection equipment and laser products for the defense industry. More information »
