Dentity Snags Seed Funding

Los Angeles-based Dentity, a startup developing a digital wallet combined with credential and ID verification service, said this morning that it has raised a seed funding round. Size of the round was not announced. The funding came from Blockchange Ventures and AARP. The company said it is creating a "platform where consumers can safely store the most important parts of both their private lives and public personas" in a digital wallet based on web3 and blockchain technology. The company is led by founder and CEO Jeffrey Schwartz. The company was part of the AARP Innovation Labs Accelerator Program.
